                                The Rev. Nordon W. Winger, Vicar

  Fr. Winger became the Vicar of St. Augustine's in March, 2000. Prior to his ministry at St. Augustine's, he served several churches in the dioceses of Northern California and the Rio Grande.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology from Pacific Union College, a Master of Divinity degree from the Theological Seminary at Andrews University, and a Certificate in Anglican Studies from The Church Divinity School of the Pacific.

He and his wife Chris were married in 1978, and have three children: a daughter who is a college graduate preparing fro seminary, and twin sons in college.

He is a former chairperson of the Diocesan Commission of Liturgy and Music.  He  served for three years as a member of the Commission on Ministry of the Diocese of Northern California, and as chair of the Academic Committee.
